Joan F Flanagan, Ph.D.Professional Summary:Dr. Flanagan is Vice President for Contract Research and IACUC Chair at BRM. She has 7+ years of preclincal experience with small and large animal models in CRO setting from early discovery to safety with a focus on metabolic and inflammatory disease and expertise in in vivo pharmacology and model development. She received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2001 performing her thesis work on the structure and function of the yeast SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex. She worked at Charles River Laboratories for 4.5 years as a Study Director.
