Melissa M Haskell, DVM, DABT

Professional Summary:

Dr. Haskell is Research Director and acting Attending Veterinarian at BRM. She has 6+ years of experience as a clinical veterinarian and 4+ years of research experience, primarily in osteoarthritis and renal disease. She has worked extensively on development of animal models of human diseases, including renal diseases, autoimmune diseases, and osteoarthritis. Prior to joining BRM, Dr. Haskell served as Clinical Veterinarian and Toxicology Associate at Stryker Biotech, where she specialized in model development, toxicology, and research surgery. She has also worked as a Clinical Veterinarian at Charles River Labs. Dr. Haskell received her DVM in 2005 from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed an internship in Large Animal Medicine in 2006 at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. In 2011 she was awarded board certification in Toxicology by the American Board of Toxicology.
